About the Show: The Friends of Casa Feliz invite you to our Seventh Annual “Art at the Casa.” The exhibition,“Peter Schreyer: Three Decades of Documenting Florida” will showcase a variety of subject matters unified by their Florida roots, including cultural landmarks, authentic local communities and romantic landscapes of nighttime scenes. The Casa Feliz Historic Home Museum will be open daily from 10-3 pm during the exhibition. There is no charge for admission, though donations to the nonprofit home museum are appreciated.
About the Artist: A native of Switzerland, Schreyer has served as the Executive Director at Crealdé School of Art since 1995 and in 2007 founded the Hannibal Square Heritage Center. Since 1980 his photography has been included in more than 100 one-person, juried and invitational exhibits across the United States and Switzerland. He has received a wide range of public art commissions, research grants and recognition awards for his photography including a Visual Arts Fellowship from the State of Florida.

Museum Open Special Hours: 10 am - 3 pm daily
Photographer’s Workshop: Saturday, January 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Schreyer will be leading a one-day photography workshop, Documenting Community for Today and for the Future. During field sessions to three different locations, participants will have assignments resulting in documentary photographs that will preserve the cultural life of our community for the future. Parlor Series Lecture: On Wednesday, January 23 at 5:30 p.m., Schreyer will lecture on his life’s work, sharing his favorite photos and the stories that go along with them. Seating limited to 50 guests. Call 407-628-8196 to register.
